What Does Excellent ‘The Devil’ Tarot Card Really Express?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009
Salome Keomuangtani asked:

of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe beginning with the rising municipals in Italy. The evolution of Tarot as we know it nowadays has a mixture of stories and legends. The mystical terrific of tarot cards intrigues analyzers, analysts and spiritualists. Tarot cards were rudimentary used as game parts like regular decks, variant from what we think of tarot cards present, although a mention to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The ethnology of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology. A typical tarot deck contains 78 cards consisting of the four suits seen in regular card games, which are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. The Latin version of the tarot deck has a various set of suits. They are swords, batons, cups, and coins. Like a regular deck, tarot cards are numbered from one to ten plus the four court cards; jack, queen, king, and ace. The difference between a tarot deck and the regular deck is the twenty-one divinity cards named Major Arcana. A joker equivalent in the tarot deck is termed the fool, or the excuse. The fool can take all four suits and acts as the sturdiest trump card. Meaning is assigned to each card in a tarot deck; withal, the specifics of interpretation are impacted by the layout of the cards, whether they are upright or reversed, and the interpreter’s own understanding. Legions of the cards in the major arcana, the trump cards, are fairly logical. The Lovers act as fall for, in some quantity, while Strength is symbolic of courage and drive. Each of the cards in the minor arcana also carries meaning when used for divination, based on both the numeric value of the card and which suit it is. Meanings of each card may be found online, in books, or simply by interpreting the images on the card. When card readings are conducted face-to-face, the card reader will once in a while ask the querent to shuffle the cards as they concentrate on the question. The querent will now and again be asked to split the deck into three piles, and then to put the deck back together again. The card reader then lays out the cards in a specific pattern, and each card has a disparate meaning, depending upon the layout used. For example, the card reader may layout three cards, one to signify the old lang syne, one for the present and one for the fate: all three cards together give a stuffed interpretation of a given situation. You can also display a tarot translating done over the phone. If you cannot find a local individual who does tarot readings or would prefer additional discretion, this may be a reputable choice. While you should expect a tarot reading over the phone to be rather expensive, do avoid questionable services charging by the minute. There are reputable tarot card readers who provide readings over the phone for a reasonable flat fee. Some may also offer online readings for a mini sum, and provide their interpretation of the cards via email. Although tarot is labeled something that is as accurate as astrology, there is still a growing tarot service market that is ever increasing through new mediums. All the same, purists still think that a face to face tarot understanding is important. It is also important to note that tarot cards are not purely divinatory devices. They are also used in several countries as cards used for playing. This alone should encourage tarot card users to keep a level head.

The Rider Waite Tarot Deck

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009
Craig Malone asked:

Whenever you say tarot cards, you would in most cases find it means the Rider Waite tarot deck. This is because this is one of the most commonly used types of card decks. The history of using tarot cards may take you to ancient times, however the tarot cards as they are known today can be traced to the year 1910 when Arthur Edward Waite designed these with the help of a very talented illustrator named Pamela Colman Smith. While Waite was British, Smith was American at that time, Waite, who was a renowned publisher, also printed an excellent guide to help with the interpretation of this tarot deck titled, ‘The Key to the Tarot.’ This book has often been re-run and used by a slightly modified title, ‘The Pictorial Key to the Tarot.’

This is a wonderful book for any tarot enthusiast because it assists you in every step while using tarot cards for a reading. Waite made a few changes when he designed this new set of cards. The Justice and Strength cards were interchanged so Justice read as card 11 while Strength reads as card 8; all the Minor Arcana cards, which previously only had their numbers and suit symbols inscribed on them, had pictures added by Waite and Smith creating a more interesting and in many ways, easier-to-read tarot deck.

You will find that this particular deck is not only the most popular found today, but also one that is most eloquent in readings. Owing to the beautiful scenes and symbols that Rider Waite and Pamela Smith introduced, each card becomes a miniature book for the diviner, who is able to read the symbols as they become apparent during a reading. The tarot deck, with the help of the key can encourage any amateur to want to learn more about this occult art. Each card has scenery, background and many symbols, which at first glance look child-like simple. On closer perusal, the details would literally unfold before your eyes the story of your subject.

Using tarot cards for divination by novices became apparently easier after this deck was issued. This is why this is one of the most popular versions of tarot cards used today throughout the world. A good number of the symbols that you would find on these cards are the result of the inspiration the authors drew from Eliphas Levi, who was during those time an extremely famous and successful occultist and magician. Fascinated by the signs this occult personality used and convinced that using tarot cards need more visual stimulation for a proper interpretation, Waite tried to make his tarot deck speak out eloquently with the help of color, scenes and symbols.

Owing to the popularity of the Waite tarot cards, many clones have found their way in this type of divination. Some of the better-known versions include the gilded tarot, the Aquarian tarot, the Universal Waite tarot, the Nigel Jackson tarot and the Golden tarot among others. Do not be fooled by the imitations. Use the original Rider Waite tarot deck.

The Virtual Tarot Cards Reading

Monday, October 26th, 2009
Daniel Millions asked:

The virtual tarot cards reading has come alive in the age of the Internet. These modern psychic readings seem to work just fine according to readers and their questioners. Unlike other occult arts, which have not all benefited from modern technology, many psychics are finding that they can connect with their computer in much the same metaphysical way that happens with their Tarot cards.

Laying The Cards Down

For many tarot card psychics, a subtle signal is received when the time is right to lay the tarot cards down. It could be a tingle in the hands or a strong feeling that the tarot cards should be laid in their formation. For computerized tarot card readers, they are finding that with the right intent and concentration, tarot card software is capable of delivering amazingly accurate tarot readings.

Psychic Connection With The Computer

Some tarot psychics say that they can feel a subtle connection with their keyboard while using the keyboard during psychic readings. The ability to use different forms of an occult tool is similar to what some divination practitioners experience with the art of scrying. Scryers use liquid or flattened surfaces to activate their clairvoyant abilities.

Even A Virtual Tool Is Better Than Nothing

With practice, some scryers are able to divine from puddles or whatever surface is handy. In the same way, tarot card readers are adapting their tarot card skills that they use with the tarot cards to the computer and keyboard. It seems to be that as long as the tarot card reader can connect with their tool of choice that accurate readings are possible even with computers.

The tarot psychic may use a software program that the psychic has downloaded to their computer. Other tarot psychics may use an online tarot software tool that the psychic accesses from their web browser. A tarot psychic will choose the software that uses the tarot cards that the tarot reader prefers to use. A tarot psychic may use different programs for more tarot card options.

When a tarot psychic uses the computer for tarot card readings, the results can be sent to the questioner through the phone, email, instant messages, text and snail mail. The computer adds a level of convenience for both the tarot psychic and the questioner. They can use the computer and the Internet to replace a more cumbersome face-to-face visit.

No Distractions Enhances Mental And Psychic Abilities

There are virtual tarot card readers who claim that when they are not distracted by the questioner’s body language or close presence, they are able to draw more information from the virtual tarot cards. In this way, the tarot reader may be able to give objective information because the tarot card reader is not influenced by the questioner. This allows the psychic to answer questions truthfully without being influenced to soften or temper what the cards say according to what the client may want to hear.

Whether it is through a computer program or actual tarot cards, good tarot card readers have a skill for reading and interpreting tarot cards. Tarot card readers are able to channel their psychic abilities through clear intention and the desire to help the questioner. Just as other workers have favorites among the tools that they use, so do tarot card readers make a choice from the virtual and hard copy tarot deck options that are available to them.

Do tarot readers ever get it right?

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009
Tigerlily asked:

I like many other people started to see tarot readers when I was having relationship problems. Trouble is, I got a bit addicted, and they never got it right. I have not been for many years now but I have the urge to try it again. Since the new act came in regarding fake mediums etc does this mean only the genuine ones remain? Does anyone have any tips in how to get a good reading, or know any “genuine” readers?

Tarot Card Question: How do you know if a card is reversed?

Monday, October 12th, 2009
AmericanPrincess asked:

In the book that came with my Tarot cards it says the “Positive” meaning if the card and the “Negative”. Am I supposed to you the Negative part when the card is reversed? And if so, how do you know if the card is reversed in the first place.
I usually just shuffle and cut the cards and deal them out in a spread. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks so much for the answers!

What Does Exceptional ‘the High Priestess’ Tarot Card Possibly Convey?

Friday, October 9th, 2009
Angelys Groshong asked:

The chronicle of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe beginning with the rising cities in Italy. The evolution of Tarot as we know it now has a diversity of stories and legends. The mystical quality of tarot cards intrigues historians, scholars and spiritualists. Tarot cards were introductory used as game cuts like regular decks, diverse from what we think of tarot cards nowadays, although a reference to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The civilization of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology.

Tarot cards are separated into five divisions: The Major Arcana, The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Coins, The Suit of Cups, and the Suit of Swords. Each card in The Major Arcana has an equivalent face card for every following suit.

The suits themselves present divisions as well. Their interpretations and worth are determined by their statuses as Oudlers/Trulls, Kings, Queens, Cavaliers, Jacks, and Others. Oudlers generally have the same point and value as Kings, while the rest from Queens to Jacks are worth one point less than their predecessors.

More than the value of cards, the English-speaking world gives significantly more value to the interpretations of the cards.

Reading a tarot card is easy, as each trump card has a distinct meaning. Though, careful interpretation is needed if one wants to read the meaning from the amassment of cards. These cards display astrological connections with readings placed under the context of the Octavian Calendar. Tarot cards are accepted to readily describe the fleshly and emotional attributes of the subject.

The rich and age-dated tradition of tarot reading is constantly evolving through time. The methods of interpreting tarot cards continue to change to catch up with the customs it is living in. The change in meaning may also contribute to the evolution of the card itself. The fundamentals of a tarot card now are far dissimilar from what it was up to now.

Along with the evolving interpretations to the meaning of tarot cards come new methods for card readers to express the message to the average Joe. Present, face-to-face card readings are being given back by phone and online readings. Be that as it may, for adequate impact and experience, face-to-face card readings still trump other methods. Face-to-face tarot readings allow the human to pick his face-down card, giving him a semblance of control to his fortunes. Face-to-face readings are common in community fairs, parties, and in the roadways. The price of a tarot card reading varies depending on the popularity of the reader and how much detail the person wants to know about his future.

You could also demonstrate a tarot reading done over the phone. If you cannot locate a local human being who does tarot readings or would prefer additional discretion, this may be a fine choice. While you should expect a tarot reading over the phone to be rather expensive, do avoid questionable services charging by the minute. There are reputable tarot card readers who provide readings over the phone for a reasonable flat fee. Some might also offer online readings for a microscopic sum, and provide their interpretation of the cards via email.

Tarot cards show a long past events, both as a simple card game and as a tool for divination. The current usage of these cards is purely esoteric. If you are interested, you should keep in mind that tarot cards are only as helpful as the reader is perceptive, and that while you might leave with some clarifications of your own thoughts, more than that is unlikely.

A Limited History To Tarot Cards And Deciphering Tarot Cards

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009
doris trebescyh asked:

of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe beginning with the rising settlements in Italy. Tarot cards were early used as game bites like regular decks, unlike from what we think of tarot cards now, although a hint to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The way of life of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology. The fresh tarot deck is separated into what is commonly named the major arcana or trump cards and minor arcane or suits of cards. The trump cards or major arcana consist of twenty two cards, all without suits. These include the fool, the Magician, the Empress, Justice, the Wheel of Fortune and others. The minor arcana consists of four suits of cards; swords, staves, cups and coins. Present, staves are frequently termed wands, but rods or batons are seen as well. Coins might be termed disks or pentacles in some tarot decks. Reading a tarot card is easy, as each trump card has a distinct meaning. Per contra, careful interpretation is needed if one wants to read the meaning from the amassing of cards. These cards display astrological connections with readings placed under the context of the Octavian Calendar. Tarot cards are supposed to readily describe the fleshly and emotional peculiarities of the subject. The rich and age-old tradition of tarot deciphering is constantly unfolding through time. The methods of interpreting tarot cards continue to change to catch up with the convention it is living in. The change in meaning may also contribute to the evolution of the card itself. The components of a tarot card nowadays are far unlike from what it was back. Face to face tarot readings are interactive in a understanding that the reader allows the person to determine which face down card is interpreted by the reader. Face to face readings are commonly found in the parkways of myriads diverse locations in the English-speaking world. In England, there is a going rate of ?12.50 per individual, but the price drastically decreases depending on the number of people paying for the service. Some offer the service in the comfort of one’s own home, while some offer it on the street for cheaper rates as well. There is a purist belief that face to face readings are significantly more accurate than additional types of readings such as e-mail readings or phone readings, but undoubtedly the general destiny of these beliefs is to be completely unfounded like all more astrological arguments. Card readings over the telephone are conducted much the same convention that card readings face to face are conducted. A querent (caller) will call into a reader, and the reader will ask the caller to concentrate on a question that he or she wants answered or clarified. The card reader then shuffles the cards and lays them out in a particular pattern. Leading patterns include a single card understanding, a three card studying, and a Celtic Cross deciphering, which is a studying of 10 dissimilar cards. The card reader will examine the symbolism in each card, in addition to the card position to conclude what the cards convey. Although tarot is known as something that is as accurate as astrology, there is still a growing tarot service market that is ever increasing through new mediums. On the other hand, purists still think that a face to face tarot understanding is important. It is also important to note that tarot cards are not purely divinatory devices. They are also used in a lot of countries as cards used for playing. This alone should encourage tarot card users to keep a level head.
