What Does Excellent ‘The Moon’ Tarot Card Really Imply?

Thursday, November 26th, 2009
doris trebescyh asked:

e more common means of stating fortunes and offering insights into the old lang syne and future is the tarot. Tarot cards leading originated in Italy in the pioneer half of the fifteenth century as a card game, used purely for recreation. This early game was something like the modernistic game of Bridge. The use of tarot cards for divination is first recorded in the early 1700s and by the end of the 18th century; changes were made to tarot cards to make them more commodious for divination and esoteric meanings. Originally, tarot cards had no connection to the occult, and this link is a more latest one than the cards themselves. The specifics of the present cards, planned for esoteric purposes, demonstrate their basis in the 19th century. Tarot cards are separated into one major arcana and five suits, namely: The Major Arcana, The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Coins, The Suit of Cups, and the Suit of Swords. The suits are separated as well. Their points’ worth and specific meanings are determined by being one of Oudlers/Trulls, Kings, Queens, Cavaliers, Jacks, or Others. Oudlers and Kings display the same value; the others from Queens to Jacks are worth one point less than their predecessors. Despite this, the English-speaking world pays more attention to the divinatory meanings of the cards, which will be tackled in the next area. Translating a tarot card is easy, as each trump card has a distinct meaning. Per contra, careful interpretation is needed if one wants to read the meaning from the compilation of cards. These cards have astrological connections with readings placed under the context of the Octavian Calendar. Tarot cards are understood to readily describe the physical and emotional attributes of the subject. The rich and age-old tradition of tarot studying is constantly increasing through time. The methods of interpreting tarot cards continue to change to catch up with the arts and sciences it is living in. The change in meaning can also contribute to the evolution of the card itself. The elements of a tarot card nowadays are far unlike from what it was antecedently. Multitudinous tarot readings are done face to face. You can locate persons who reads tarot cards in your local area by curious online, checking local listings or asking at an occult bookshop. You should come prepared with a question or query much of the time, and might find that while you could gain some effective insights from a understanding, it is more a perceptive tool than a truly esoteric one. Each tarot reader has their own preferences with regard to how they lay out cards and read them; be that as it may, you could reasonable expect that a more complex and time consuming reading will be more costly. You can also demonstrate a tarot understanding done over the phone. If you cannot locate a local being who does tarot readings or would prefer additional discretion, this can be a commendable choice. While you should expect a tarot deciphering over the phone to be rather expensive, do avoid questionable services charging by the minute. There are reputable tarot card readers who provide readings over the phone for a reasonable flat fee. Some may also offer online readings for a mini sum, and provide their interpretation of the cards via email. Tarot card divination may not be a real science; it may not be as accurate as some people would like to believe, but the market for tarot is ever growing through the availability of readings online and in other similar mediums. While this is so, there is still a vast demand for face-to-face tarot understanding because of the mystique and interactivity. A fair judgment of the industry is that it is growing in its diverse aspects - whether it is face to face, on the phone, or by some additional medium. While society drives itself into a more scientific fate, the appeal of astrology, especially in tarot cards, is still growing fast.

El Tarot: Lances De Tarot Para Los Amantes

Monday, November 16th, 2009
Tarot asked:

Reading Tarot Cards - a Comprehensive Approach

Monday, November 16th, 2009
Robert asked:

Reading tarot cards is a pastime that has been done centuries ago, which determines possible outcomes and predictions of the future.  A tarot deck can come in different themes but is basically made up of the twenty-two major arcana cards and the fifty six minor arcana.  Since the early Christian European era, tarot reading was already being done and is still being practiced by aspiring and professional tarot readers today.

I personally have a Pythagorean deck, which differs from other decks as it has mathematical backgrounds incorporated with the cards’ meanings.  Each card has its own meaning depending on how the tarot reader interprets the formation of the cards.  But despite the difference in deck, reading tarot cards is done by interpreting the images or pictures that dominate the entire body of the card.  In reading tarot cards, the cards are placed in a formation called “spreads” which will allow the reader to predict a certain aspect of a person’s life.  Commonly used spreads include the Celtic spread, the horseshoe spread, 3-card spread, 1-card spread, the astrological spread, and the teractycs wherein ten cards are arranged in a four-rowed pyramid.  There are many other spreads aside from these which the tarot reader can use and arrange his cards the way he sees it fit.

Tarot reading is done to answer questions about anything to do with the person.  Whether it would be about love or the future, the cards will either tell you directly the answer or give you a situation which discreetly answers the question.  Some tarot decks require you to delve yourself into a spiritual aura and perform certain rituals in order to get an accurate reading.  For my Pythagorean deck, the cards need to always be purified by the moonlight, arranged and placed in an acceptable box or bag to keep bad spirits from affecting the cards, and to offer praise to the gods in order to be able to read the tarot spread correctly and accurately.  Reading tarot cards doesn’t necessarily mean denouncing your faith or anything of the sort, but a way to know what may be in store for you just as Chinese and love horoscopes do.

Tarot cards can also be used for other purposes.  During the 16th century in Europe, tarot cards were used to compose poetry, also called “tarocchi appropriate”, to describe ladies of the court.  Psychologists also use tarot cards in representing archetypes or are interpreted as pictorial representations of human development from infancy to adulthood.  Some occult schools that specialize in symbolic study use tarot cards as a textbook in their teachings as well.  Reading tarot cards does not only have to be for predictions or answering questions regarding future instances, but can also be a way of understanding human beings in general and the way things act and react in this world.

Reading tarot cards can be done if you’re dedicated in learning the basic interpretations of each card.  Though it may take some practice and a few trials, reading tarot cards can enhance your ability in interpretation and analysis in certain trivial circumstances.

Should Tarot cards be sold in the USA for playing actual card games?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009
thecityoftownsville_2000 asked:

In European countries such as France, there are Tarot cards sold to play actual card games similar to Spades and Bridge. According to most historians, Tarot cards were originally intended for card games and not for divination. However in countries such as the US, Tarot cards are only sold for fortune telling purposes and most Americans only associate Tarot with divination. Do you believe this situation should change? Would you play actual card games with Tarot? Should Tarot publishers supply game rules with Tarot decks?

An Overture To Messing With Tarot Cards

Thursday, November 12th, 2009
Angelys Groshong asked:

ment of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe starting with the rising cities in Italy. The evolution of Tarot as we know it now has a variation of stories and legends. The mystical fine of tarot cards intrigues historians, researchers and spiritualists. Tarot cards were primary used as game bits like regular decks, variant from what we think of tarot cards today, although a implication to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The customs of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology. Tarot cards are separated into five divisions: The Major Arcana, The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Coins, The Suit of Cups, and the Suit of Swords. Each card in The Major Arcana has an equivalent face card for every following suit. The suits themselves display divisions as well. Their interpretations and worth are determined by their statuses as Oudlers/Trulls, Kings, Queens, Cavaliers, Jacks, and Others. Oudlers generally show the same point and value as Kings, while the rest from Queens to Jacks are worth one point less than their predecessors. More than the value of cards, the English-speaking world gives significantly more value to the interpretations of the cards. Studying a tarot card is easy, as each trump card has a distinct meaning. But, careful interpretation is needed if one wants to read the meaning from the group of cards. These cards present astrological connections with readings placed under the context of the Octavian Calendar. Tarot cards are accepted to readily describe the personal and emotional characters of the subject. The rich and age-dated tradition of tarot deciphering is constantly enlarge through time. The methods of interpreting tarot cards continue to change to catch up with the folklore it is living in. The change in meaning could also contribute to the evolution of the card itself. The aspects of a tarot card now are far diverse from what it was antecedently. Many tarot readings are done face to face. You could find individuals who reads tarot cards in your local area by inquiring online, checking local listings or asking at an occult bookshop. You should come prepared with a question or query much of the time, and may spot that while you may gain some instrumental insights from a deciphering, it is more a perceptive tool than a truly esoteric one. Each tarot reader has their own preferences with regard to how they lay out cards and read them; on the other hand, you can reasonable expect that a more complex and time consuming understanding will be more costly. Surrogate tarot card studying methods include phone and online readings. While there are free Internet sites to read your fortunes, they are only for be visible or offered as a gimmick. On the additional hand, professional tarot card readers offering their services over the phone may cost about £5.00 per studying. Card deciphering over the phone suggests a disparate approach to commercial tarot card understanding, since the customer could display a hotline to know his fortunes on demand. Card studying allows citizens to display their fortunes checked every morning, which is both convenient and lifestyle altering. Tarot cards display been around for centuries and display been used in myriads cultures for the purposes of divination. There are a cross section of card layouts, and there are scarcely any diverse card understanding methods that card readers use. The interpretation of Tarot Cards is based on the card position and the assorted symbols in each card.

Tarot Cards Instructions

Saturday, November 7th, 2009
Steven Magill asked:

Copyright (c) 2008 Steven Magill

If you have ever wanted to find some easy to follow tarot cards instructions then you have come to the right place. Many people want to learn more about the tarot and using tarot cards, but finding tarot cards instructions that are geared for beginners can be tricky, especially if you are unsure of what, exactly, tarot cards are for.

First here is some basic tarot card information: tarot cards are not going to predict the future. They aren’t going to give you answers from the cosmos. What tarot cards do is speak to your intuition. Tarot cards are not going to tell you anything that some part of you doesn’t already know. The card can shed insight into a current situation or help you figure out answers to problems yourself. Keep that in mind as you read the following tarot card instructions.

1. Choose your tarot card deck carefully. This is not a normal deck of playing cards or a pack of trading cards that you are picking up. Each tarot card deck has its own energy and it is important to take your time in figuring out which deck you feel the most comfortable with. Look at the illustrations on the cards and pay attention to your senses. You will eventually find a deck that you feel a connection to and that is the deck you should purchase.

2. Even if you haven’t started to learn what each of the cards means, take some time to become familiar with each of the cards in your tarot card decks. Really look at the illustrations and start figuring out how each one of the cards fits into the different categories of cards.

3. Begin studying what each of the cards means. Putting meaning to each card is easier if you can easily call to mind the card when you are reading about it. Sure it is easy enough to do a tarot card spread and then look up the meaning of each card, but a tarot reading is far more fulfilling if you already know what the cards mean.

4. The easiest tarot card spread is the three card spread. This card spread gives you insight into the past, the present and the future that surround the question you are concentrating on. We’ve already said that tarot cards cannot predict the future, but they can give you some insight into your feelings about the future. Once you’ve mastered the three card reading, you are ready to move on to other card spreads.

These are just a few simple tarot cards instructions. Obviously there are more complicated card spreads and there are techniques to learning about the individual cards and what they mean. If you are just starting out, though, hopefully these tarot cards instructions will provide you with enough background information to start you on your journey to being a practiced reader of the tarot cards. Before you know it, you will be advanced enough to do readings for other people.
